Description
Gus the polar bear was one of the Central Park Zoo's biggest attractions (also literally, since he was a bear). A bit goofy and somewhat neurotic -- after living in NYC for so long, you kinda get to be that way no matter who you are -- Gus delighted the crowds with his antics. Unfortunately, in 2013 he developed an inoperable tumor and had to be euthanized. Farewell, goofy bear. The city loved you.
